Environment Awareness Program

The Green Earth Charitable Trust has been dedicated to environmental protection and conservation since its inception. So, we on behalf of our organization, every year we are organizing an environmental awareness program in the different places in West Bengal to encourage public participation in environmental decision-making processes. The program aims to promote sustainable development by participating in environmental governance at local, regional, and national levels and in policy-making processes. We also conduct various seminars, trainings, and programs to educate and raise awareness among different groups of society about environmental issues.

Child Welfare Program

Children are the future leaders, but many from underprivileged backgrounds lack proper education, health, and basic needs. The Green Earth Charitable Trust focuses on the health and well-being of these children, protecting them from poverty, family issues, abuse, neglect, and inadequate resources. Our aim is to provide a safe environment, nutritious food, quality education, and skill development, ensuring they have the opportunities they deserve.

Health Awareness Program

A health and nutrition awareness program was also conducted by our organization to address the needs of rural communities. The program was attended by over hundreds of people, highlighting its usefulness in areas where health awareness is lacking. We got immense appreciation from people for the low-cost initiative, noting its effectiveness in educating villagers about their health requirements. Additionally, they were informed about various government schemes aimed at improving healthcare access and execution.

Tube Well Repair & Maintenance

To extend our social efforts, besides various rural development projects, we also have been engaged in tube well repair and maintenance. Collaborating with local communities, our members and volunteers conduct repairs and maintenance on tube wells and roads. Through joint efforts, we strive to improve infrastructure and cleanliness in rural areas, fostering community involvement and contributing to the overall development and well-being of the region.

Drinking Water Awareness

We have noticed rapid urban population growth has worsened sanitation issues. To combat this issue, we also organize a program to raise awareness about drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene. Our main goal is to ensure access to clean water. Members help clear wells, tube wells, and ponds. We educate the public about the water they use and promote good sanitation in slum areas. We work with civic authorities to provide better sanitation to more people.

Pulse Polio Awareness

In line with the commitment to creating a polio-free India, we organize pulse polio awareness and vaccination programs. Despite government claims, polio eradication is still now a challenge. Recognizing our responsibility, in Murshidabad district, we conduct polio vaccination camps and distribute medicines among the common masses. A sound number of children receive vaccinations through our camps. These efforts are crucial steps towards achieving a polio-free nation.

Women Welfare Programme

Empowering women can build a strong nation. Our organization conducts awareness programs for women especially those who come from financially disadvantaged groups, imparting knowledge about their rights and the importance of financial independence. These programs attract a large number of rural women. We also inform them about various government schemes aimed at their welfare, covering education, employment, and technical guidance. Our main aim to uplift women and contribute to their empowerment and societal progress.

Skill Development Programme

Considering the increasing significance of computer education and employment opportunities in information technology, we established a computer training center. Our aim is to offer quality computer education to underprivileged youths belonging to the financially backward section. Many students have enrolled in our institute and are benefiting from our best computer education at an affordable price. We are committed to empowering young individuals with the skills needed for success in the digital age.

Toilet Beneficiary

We have undertaken the responsibility to improve sanitation and hygiene standards at rural and semi-urban areas where communities lack proper access to toilets. Recognizing the importance of proper sanitation facilities in better health, dignity, and overall wellbeing, we have constructed and are maintaining toilets. Our main aim is to prevent the spread of diseases, enhance public health, and empower everyone with the basic human right to safe and hygienic sanitation.

Financial Support to Students

We support the education of needy and underprivileged students by offering financial assistance and providing free educational resources. Many children from marginalized backgrounds lack essential resources for their education. We distribute study kits containing books, pens, and pencils, and cover their educational expenses. These efforts aim to ensure their education remains uninterrupted and empower them to achieve their full potential.
